For celebratory types, it's nice to decorate the tree bottom to top. But, usually the holiday ornaments come out of the cardboard box in no particular order. Rubbermaid's ornament storage unit is constructed of durable resin to withstand basement storage mishaps and drops on concrete floors. Its transparent walls let you see where that special ornament is so you remember what goes where. The unit holds approximately 45 ornaments. Best of all, a latching lid protects fragile ornaments and offers easy access.

flimsy inserts
the inserts to hold the ornaments are made out of flimsy cardboard. I sent Rubbermaid an email saying these need to be made out of plastic. Ornaments on the 2nd level tend to sag into the bottom level if they are a bit heavy. Nice green box though!

Rubbermaid Ornament Box
I was pleasantly surprised with my Rubbermaid Ornament Box. It is made of the same plastic used in other Rubbermaid products that we've become familiar with. It has cardboard dividers and holds 45 ornaments. I love it and have already transferred my ornaments into this container. My only complaints would be the size and the cardboard dividers. I could have used something larger - maybe holding 60 ornaments instead of 45. Also, I would have preferred the dividers to have also been made out of Rubbermaid plastic instead of cardboard. I think with continued use, the cardboard will not hold up as well as plastic would. I think this product was a very worthwhile purchase.

came damaged
This may be a fine product but both the ornament boxes I ordered came with cracks and holes in them. They came in two separate boxes and both boxes were not strong enough to handle shipping. I would not recommend buying these until the shipping problems are solved.
