Perfect connection to an aux in5
I don't know why products like this are so hard to find. I searched for quite a while for a simple way to connect my iPod to my car stereo's aux in via the dock connector/line out, and finally settled on this one. It does the trick, and unlike others I've owned, it has a dock connector that's just as slim as the original Apple USB dock connector. That means it's much easier to connect to your iPod when it's in a case. For that reason, I prefer it to the retractable Zip Linq cable I had, which had a thick dock connector and which also happened to break on me after a few months' use.

I can't claim to be an audiophile, but the sound quality is flawless to my ears, and *much* better than I've ever gotten out of a cassette adapter or FM transmitter. I've had the cable for about 3 months, and I'm perfectly satisfied. About the only recommendation I'd make to the manufacturer is to offer the cable in a shorter length.

A handy cord to have4
This is much better than using the headphone jack on your iPod to connect to devices. The line-level out produces better sound and you can also adjust the volume level with just the thing you plug it into. Very nice if you want to just plug your iPod into a friends computer and they don't have iTunes installed. In fact, as long as they have a sound input, they don't have to have anything installed at all. Also works much better connecting to cars with an AUX input than the headphone jack.

Perfect for a VW Bug!5
Don't waste your $$$ on a FM tuner for $40! This is perfect for a late model car. Works great! You can control your volume through the radio and change the songs on the ipod.
