A Wonderful Listening Experience
Doc's beautiful style, warm tone, and sensitive approach to each ballad reveal the genius of a true artist who can make the trumpet soar to melodic heights, lifting the listener to a wonderful listening experience. This is why some us chose to play the trumpet in the first place. This CD will likely endure as a shining example of good ballad trumpet playing to students and pros for years to come.
Although they provided superb accompaniment, the Cincinnati Pops seemed challenged at times to keep pace with Doc.
