Love it!
I bought this for my Yorkie. He went crazy! He loves his other toys that have things hidden inside so I knew this would be fun for him. I can't help but laugh when he plays with it. I highly recommend this for dogs.
Side note, I didn't really know what to expect size wise. When I read that three squirrels stuffed inside the tree trunk, I thought even the junior size would be big. It is perfect for my Yorkie but if you have bigger dogs, you may want to choose a bigger size.
Overall, no complaints here. I actually am going to order a back-up one should anything happen to the ne I already have.
Never touches the ground
This toy is like doggy crack. I've bought it for beagles and a Jack Russell, and I'm about to buy it for a Schipperke.
The instructions say to put the toy someplace to absorb your scent for 24 hours, so your dog will be interested in it. This is hilarious, because your dog will snatch it out of your hand within seconds, scent or no.
This size (junior) works best for dogs in the 15-30 pound range.
I wish Amazon carried all the sizes available. There is an even smaller size than junior, which is great for toy breeds. The refill package only comes in large, but I think that is the manufacturer's fault, not Amazon's.
Great if your dog is done teething!
My scottish terrier pup loves this toy(he actually loves the squirrels and tree trunk equally). Unfortunately for the tree trunk, he was able to chew through a portion of it within the first 30 mins he had it. Two of the holes where the squirrels poke out of are only about 1/2 inch apart, and he chewed through the separating portion, so now there's just one big hole! He doesn't seem to care though. He still runs around with his face in the trunk hole and a squirrel hanging from his mouth!
