This kit includes 3 cartridges that each dispense the exact amount of sanitizing solution needed to decontaminate Granules and Genie Bowl and to keep the CatGenie running properly. Made with same ingredients used by veterinarians to sterilize their exam and operating areas, each Sani-Soultion Smart Cartidge will even alert you when the solution runs low. The Sani-Solution Smart Cartridge can also be purchased individually or in a 6-pack. Extra Cat Genie Washable Granules are also available and sold separately.

Best auto litter box I have used yet
I have used the littermaid, Litter Robot, and now the Cat Genie.
After having this for over a year I have this to offer:
The early models, had some problems. I called on three problems I have had, each time, the engineers had a modification which was sent to me for no cost. Each modification did indeed resolve the problem I was having.
I have two long haired persian cats, and one cat genie.
One of my cat's is old, and her digestivie system has some pretty rough problems. (I won't go into details) The Cat Genie handles it no problem. You are supposed to completely dissamble and clean the system about once a month. I usually only do it about every 2nd or third month. The only shortcoming the model 60 has is you have to either start it manually, or schedule it to run on a timer. The new model that came out in August 2009, (the 120) finally has a sensor to allow it to run after each use. This really isn't needed due to how the system handles liquids, but it's nice for when you are gone for an extended time. The tech support is very knowledgeable and responsive. When I called for the three problems I had, I was pretty stressed, and they talked me through my problems, and always got the product working quickly.
The amount of engineering that has gone into this device is quite amazing.

Very convenient to be able to order the 3 pack, as I have multiple cats and I use two cartridges a month. So now I will be able to budget it more efficiently into my budget.
