I read this book first. (a great book on being healthy, lowering cholesterol). also recipes in the back. After reading this I also read his dad's book "Prevent and reverse heart disease" which basically tells you more detailed reasons behind it. Both books are great. This is highly recommended. I'm trying to follow it and get my cholesterol down.

Good book

tells you only to drink distilled water and why

basically lists the pH of many foods and drinks. You should be between 7.35 and 7.45. Outside of this can result in cell damage. Good pH balance is vital for body health.

Beans are good for you. Lots of fiber. I got these at Whole Foods.

Look for a pakcage of 1 in your local health food store. They're ice pops made with organic fruit and they're a nice treat.

I haven't read this one yet but I probably will.

I believe this is the book I read 17 years ago that helped convince me to become a vegetarian at that time.

According to the Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products, fluoride is more toxic than lead and only slightly less toxic than arsenic. This toothpaste doesn't have flouride in it. If you want only one bottle, you can find it at most health food stores and even at some Walgreens.
