| Life should be pleasurable. If it isn't, then something needs to change. All aspects of life should blend together. Your educational experience should be fun, or you don't learn properly. Your finances should be fun, or you need to make them be. Your health should be dealt with in pleasure. Being unhealthy is not fun! Where you live should be where you love to live. Once those basics are met, deeper pursuits can have an affect. Enjoyment in life shouldn't be escapism, but rather it should be adding to your life and the fulfillment that you feel. If you don't feel happy and uplifted after your current entertainment activity, you need to make a change. Just because everyone says that you should enjoy something, doesn't mean that you should. If sunsets bring you down, don't force yourself to watch them. Just because everyone says that you should not enjoy something, doesn't mean that you shouldn't. If romance novels bring you pleasure, read them. Individual likes and dislikes are good! | ||
