Airline Livery Buffs - this is the one you have been waiting for5
There are a myriad of books covering virtually every aspect of civilian aircraft operations. Many include detailed records of airline operations. Some include a description of the livery applied. And just a few - a scant few - actually celebrate the airline livery itself. The graphic and vibrant detail of these schemes nearly jump off the page and are exhaustively described. And, unlike some publications, that dedicate a section of the respective book to a handfull of current liveries - this one actually covers 700! The obvious question begs to be asked - will the author and illustrators take the next step and make this a yearbook (afterall, as a collective, airline liveries change about as frequently as the seasons) format? And, the ultimate companion to this flawless book, would be a retrospective of past airline liveries. If they do, we eagerly await the next editions.

Incredible Guide5
Was waiting for something like this for years. I highly Recommend this Book. Instant access to Major and smaller carriers throught out the world. Covers just about all of them. You will NOT find any defunct airlines here from years past, BUT you will find many present day carriers. Brief descriptions about the airline and a excellent explanation of the colors, tail design, logo of the airline. All in color, no photographs of the planes, but well displayed computer designed artwork.

Very comprehensive4
I bought this for my 5 year old son. He loves it and is learning all the airline logos. Book is very comprehensive covering a really wide list of airlines with 1-2 pictures of their aircrafts and detailed history and good set of facts. Only wish they had pictures of the airlines in their native airports for a more real world feel rather than the standard pictures like from the back of the airplane magazine with just the aircraft on a white background.
