Customer Reviews
Not a miracle bottle
We started out using Dr. Brown's bottles early on with our twins. They both had horrible gas as well as reflux and some very stubborn burps. We had hoped these bottles would be the miracle that some people claim they are. However, that was not our case. I suspect they probably did help prevent SOME air from getting in their tummies, but our babies still had several burps after taking only about 3 ounces. So I decided to switch to Playtex Ventaire to see how those bottles did. And while they are no miracle bottle either, they are sooooo much easier to clean! Our babies still get some burps with the Playtex as well as colicky tummy pains, but they always have had to deal with that kind of thing (unfortunatley). But at least I don't have to also deal with cleaning the Dr. Browns bottles now, because they were a pain! The Ventaires are extremely easy to clean at least.
Great bottle, until I found better.
This worked great for my infant. Does everything is said it would. However, there are five parts to individually clean and keep together. And I found the internal bottle system more intensive to clean, even though they do enclose a special brush for cleaning. Without it, forget it.
I do not dishwash my baby bottles, however after my husband ran them through the dishwasher we had a hard time with leaking.
So I tried another bottle, the Avent bottles. I love them. My baby loves them. Easy to clean. PBA free. The bubble filtration system works just as good as the Dr. Browns. They're worth the extra dough.
A lifesaver
My foster son has terrible reflux, and these bottles have made a definite improvement for him. They are great!
