Extension ladder stabilizer
This product was excellent with several nice features: It allows you adjust the distance of the ladder from the wall from 10"to 24", a very handy feature when painting, installing soffit and fascia, or just cleaning gutters. It is made of very sturdy aluminum so it won't rust or bend. It also connects and disconnects to or from the ladder very easily with just two wing nuts. Two drawback are that the ladder becomes difficult to move around while the top-heavy stabilizer is connected to the ladder and it is very difficult to use on a house corner as each side of the stabilizer has to rest against separate walls. This makes it a little "shaky", but is still doable.
Good value and effective result
Product works well for our occasional business needs at [...] and my own home gutter / roof maintenance.
No more risking my life or my helpers and increases quality of our work since we are not preoccupied with instability issues.
Department of labor and Industries would be proud. :o)
Great product
If you use ladders at least 20 ft. or larger yu seriously need this product!! At the top of a 40 ft. extension ladder fully extended I felt like I was standing on top of a 6 ft. ladder!!! Not to mention if you have todo any spouting work it keeps you out away from the work so youcan more easily get the job done!!
Basically if you have a 2 story house or climb ladders regularly you have to have this product and the corner stabilizer too!!!
