Hit it big during the British invasion of North American pop music, but actually originally from Australia. Two more recent excellent CDs are STILL WATERS and THIS IS WHERE I CAME IN.

Directed by Bruce Beresford. One of the best films of the past decade. Starts as a small human interest movie, but builds to a more cosmic appeal. Makes my list of INSPIRATIONAL FILMS. More Beresford films below.

Oscar-winning performance(posthumous) by Aussie actor Peter Finch. Outstanding other performances by Faye Dunaway(Oscar win) and William Holden(nominated). Good movie, despite one of the stupidest endings in movie history.

Makes it onto my GREAT SCREEN ROMANCES list, though I don't usually care for timetravel/ghost movies. As little Beth once said to Lou Grant about NFL football: "I prefer real life".

Over-praised by Christians since it's a rare film which doesn't bash faith. It moves many, though I was bored myself. Racism charges groundless, depicts good and bad Jews. Faithful to scripture, so you'd have to say the Bible is racist(ridic !!!)

This 3-pack has all the fun Croc Dundee flicks. Paul Hogan was a likeable star. It's been a while but memory says the first was best, as usual.

Not nearly as bad as critics said. Some scriptural errors and some distortions of the significance of David's life, but Beresford continues to do films of spiritual significance.
