Del Toro. Need I say more? Seriously I love a good spooky one at Christmas and quality horror out of Hollywood is very hard to come by - they keep churning out the same old formulaic pap for the most part which means both the Japanese and the Spanish have the edge these days on giving us much more original and gripping horror drama.

Day-Lewis is always irresistable especially when playing very intense characters I feel. The Oscar hype also drew my attention to this but I have reasonably high expectations.

John Lennon, assassination intrigue. That'll do it. You've got my attention.

Looks a bit silly. Strong cast though and we all need a bit of silliness at Christmas now don't we?

Got to reward originality even if it makes you say 'Ewww!' (which it wouldn't make me say of course since that's a very American college girly thing to say)

I probably won't like this but I always need at least a smattering of crime drama at least. The director previously gave us 'Fracture' which was ok on story, pretty good on direction I thought.

Absolute saver! Loved the Japanese original and although the US copies tend to lose the edge as Hollywood seeps in and casts its blandness, they're usually still worth at least one watch.

It looks goofy and I'm no basketball fan but I'm happy to support Will Ferrel's travels through every type of sporting movie he can make.

Liked the look of this and love the fantasy genre which is hot right now. Plus it's been recommended.

Just an interesting David & Goliath story of how students tried to beat the casinos. Besides, Kevin Spacey is a rare sight these days.

I'm pretty sure its a chick flick. No but seriously loks like a sensitive drama with a strong cast.
