Review
"Marcia Tate is concise and to the point. The activities are easy to incorporate and don't require teachers to add more to their already full plates. Teachers who are looking for educationally sound AND fun activities will love this book!" (Carrice Cummins, Associate Professor )
"I thoroughly enjoyed reading this user-friendly book, and plan to share the activities with teachers working with struggling readers." (Catherine Duffy, English Chairperson )
"This book is wonderful. I wish I could have had it several years ago. The practical strategies, easily read format, organization of the book, and related research makes this book a must--especially for new elementary teachers." (Myrna Hinson, Professional Learning Coordinator )
"In this collection of exquisitely teacher-friendly activities, Marcia Tate has extended the wonderful brain-based discussions that she set forth in her two previous books. Teachers will delight in using the creative and practical suggestions and activities here to teach the language arts. The 20 strategies presented here...provide teachers with a solid cadre of research-based activities which incorporate all eight levels of multiple intelligences and all four learning modalities. Teachers and students will find this collection filled with a variety of fun and practical approaches to instruction in the language arts which are classroom-tested and based on the most current research." (Dr. William T. Hammond, Literacy Coordinator )
