The Sprig Baja Scout is full of spunk eager to take Adventure Guide Miki Flinders cruising the dunes. Headquartered out of Hawker, Australia, Miki needs you to take the wheel on his next Outback Journey and keep an eye out for wombats and bandicoots. Using the pump-action generator power to activate the lights on Miki's hat, this Baja Scout allows children to make their own noises while still lighting up the hats of the Adventure Guides during play. The Baja Scout Sidekick includes Adventure Guide Miki Flinders and brings a light-up function in any of the Sidekick vehicles and light-up and a new Outback Journey themed sound adventure when placed in the Sprig Discover Rig. The Baja Scout vehicle and Adventure Guide are made in Canada from an eco-friendly bio-composite called Sprig wood using recycled plastic and reclaimed wood. Generate lights in an eco-friendly toy that requires no batteries.

Awesome and eco friendly!
This is a great toy for imagination and made with recycled materials and no batteries. Just awseome. I got the rally racer too.

So much fun!
We love this toy! My son and I can spend an hour playing with this! He loves the concept of being able to make the light get brighter just by pumping the back of the vehicle. I know this sounds crazy, but I love the smell of it, too! You can really tell that it's made of recycled wood! I will definitely buy the other two vehicles for more kid-powered fun.

No sound on these!
Cool idea about the recycled material - but the advertising is very misleading. These "Side Kick" vehicles (Baja Scout and one other one) only have a little light on the driver's helmet - there is NO SOUND. The packaging on the box has this blurb: "G'day little partner! My name is Miki Flinders. Join me on an Outback adventure, listen to the didgeridoo, hear the wild animals of Australia including crocodiles...." So of course I think that is what the vehicle/driver do. But it's only the "Discover Rig" that includes audio capacity. Just be sure you realize that before you buy.

The vehicle is cute and fun but I feel totally ripped off - I bought two of these so was doubly disappointed.
