From Booklist
Innovation comes in many forms and guises, many from unlikely sources. Here, a Colorado realtor fuels any home owner's imagination by finding space--and occasional beauty--in an organized garage. Included are both psychological and resourceful prompts, from the nine objectives of a great garage (beginning with "when in doubt, throw it out") to more than 25 manufacturers of various uncluttering items (for instance, wall systems and epoxy coatings). Along the way, he helps a Colorado family remodel their garage; provides quick tips (ladder storage for one); muses about the place of feng shui; asks a number of architects to contribute layouts; and adds a few historical notes, such as trivia and famous car spaces (Walt Disney and Steve Jobs of Apple started in theirs, to mention two). Innovation that overlooks occasional turgid prose and fuzzy photographs. Barbara Jacobs

Take back your garage
Like any other home improvement project, and garage organizing is definitely a value added home improvement, you want to do your research first. The last thing you want to do is finish a project and THEN have a bunch of "what if I...", or "I should have...". You want to get it done right the first time and be done with it. This book goes from start to finish, from the history and construction of the garage, to the organized functional garage we all wish we had. If you're planning a garage makeover, find a reputable company to do it, and read this book, as it has ideas for everyone. Definitely worth the price.
Garage Organizing for Everyone
I first heard about Bill West and The Garagenous Zone in Men's Health magazine. I was intrigued so I bought the book. The idea that we tend to use our garage as a landfill really hit home with me as I have a two-car garage and barely had room for a bicycle, let alone a car. Having been inspired by this book, I have spent the last month, in my spare time, working on the problem. I am proud to say I now have my wife's van back in the garage AND I have my workbench back. I am so motivated I am actually considering an epoxy floor finish next. I recommend this book highly for anyone looking for motivation and ideas for organizing their garage.
Garage finishing catalog with editorial.
This book is pretty much a catolog of various garage finishing resources. Some additional information is given, but you'll get just as much out of this book as a free Griot's Garage catalog. The text in this book was fairly unbiased, though.
