Quick, encouraging read
I picked up this book at the local library because I was feeling like life was moving a little monotonously, I was in a bit of a funk as to how to rememdy it, and I needed some encouragement as a stay-at-home Mom. This book was so uplifting, had some simple, but great ideas and lots of wisdom for being a loving mother and staying focused on the blessings of raising children. I read it in three sittings, so it's pretty easy and quick to get through, which is why I would suggest getting it from the library if you can. I would really recommend every mother read this book just because it is great encouragement, has lots of little stories that are easy to relate to, and it comes from a Biblical perspective which solidifies the wisdom presented. This is a very down-to-earth book and helpful in a practical way.

Great study for moms
My small bible study group has been reading this book - we are about half way through. All of us have really enjoyed the tips and insights she offers. It really stresses how to slow down and enjoy your children while they are still with you. The chapters are very short, so it is an easy devotional for busy moms.
