When designing the Shoe Pouch, our primary goal was to ensure a snug fit, extensively testing it with reinforced, nylon lace loops, and a Velcro® closure over the insertion slit. These designs maximize the durability of the Shoe Pouch while, most importantly, maintaining the accuracy of the Nike+® system. The Shoe Pouch matches the correct longitudinal alignment of the sensor, completely covers the sensor and attaches through the laces for excellent security. Does the job.
My first one lasted about 7 months before it fell apart. It works well, I get accurate results with the pouch. I like it very much, it allows me the freedom to purchase whatever shoe I need ans still use the Nike + system.

Great workaround for the Nike+ products!
I REALLY wanted to buy the new Nike+ SportBand to use in an upcoming race since it will track my pace, mileage, etc. I didn't want to buy the special Nike shoes since I recently bought a new pair of Asics that I love (I'm not fond of Nike running shoes anyway). What a dilemma--my beloved Asics running shoes or the Nike+ SportBand?! I came across this product and thought I'd give it a shot since it's pretty cheap. Works like a charm! It's really easy to use--just slip your sensor into the pouch and lace it into your shoes. It seems very secure too, so I'm not at all worried about the sensor flying out. My biggest concern initially was that this would affect the accuracy of the thing, but it sure doesn't. It's still dead on! What a great product for all those who don't want to buy Nike shoes. I highly recommend this and couldn't be more pleased!

Awesome product! When used with Nike+ it helped my sensor work better and I don't have to worry about the sensor falling off when I run. Great idea!
