New believer!
Short but sweet...I didn't think this would work AT all but it works GREAT! The mount that came with my Garmin broke from taking it on and off to disconnect the charger. I travel a lot and take the GPS and charger with me to use in rental cars. So, this friction mount was just to replace the broken mount. I didn't want to get the same thing so that it'd just break again so I decided to try this one. The accidental benefit is now I can take the mount with me to use in the rental car as well! Everything stays put and I drive crazy sometimes. :)
excellent innovation
very helpful and definitely better than the free mount that comes w/ the GPS. I have the 660 nuvi and this is a perfect mount for it. definitely recommend it !!!
Excellent GPS Holder
I have had many different types of window GPS mounts and the dash board mount far exceeds any window mount. It stays where you put it and the best part is you can remove it when not in use, not leaving any indication that you have a GPS for someone to steal. It is also great for relocating to a second vehicle when needed.
