Because of the STEALTH1EX’s conventional appearance they can be used to supervise your business or home completely undetected.This system is extremely user-friendly and you can have it up and running in a matter of minutes because everything is truly plug and play. Auto-resume recording ensures that both STEALTH1EX's will automatically resume its recording schedule if power is lost and then restored. This units are able to run completely wire free by using 4 AA batteries for up to 17 hours in standby mode, or 12 hours of continuous recording (lithium batteries recommended). An AC power adapter is also included to power the system with a constant power feed.The units capture high quality digital video and records directly onto the included 2GB SD card. The STEALTH1 is also SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) compatible up to 32GB (not included), offering up to almost 2 full years of continuous recording per DVR.You can also view video footage by connecting the DVR to your TV, or remove the SD card to view or archive all recorded video on your computer.Motion activated recording settings let you choose to only capture important video footage and record only when necessary. Like my title says the best way to rate this camera would be an average home monitoring. And here is why. It's about the size of man's palm, not very stealthy, but it does look like regular motion detector. Battery operation could be a big plus, but lithium batteries only lasted half a day on motion sensing recording, it could last longer if that would be continuous recording, I think. So the fact that you have to keep it plugged-in in an outlet, and the cord is not very long really doesn't help. Also forget about low light recording, it's not existent. Lastly it could be just minor thing for somebody, but field of view it's only about 50 degrees.
