Exellent intro to circuitry
I have a friend who bought this for her kids for their homeschool. When we visited, my boys spent HOURS going through all the experiments and rushing up the stairs to show us how each one worked. I was really impressed with A)how long the toy kept the attention of my constantly moving boys and B)how the gentle introduction into electronics and circuits made it very easy to explain how these actual events work. I spent a number of minutes sharing and teaching in terms that my young children understood and am grateful that the doors of knowledge were opened without me having to force it down their throats. With so many experiments, it takes a while for them to get bored. The smaller kits are cool but are mastered quickly. This set takes a while to master.

great, even for kids younger than designed for
my boys (5 & 7) love this. they each have one and like to build different things at the same time then show each other and they get so excited. i think it is fine for the younger ages, but there are alot of small parts, so keeping it organized is a must.

my son loves it
Bought this for my son's 8th birthday. He came home from the party and proceeded to spend hours doing one project after the other. He was so excited about what he could do with this. He had to demonstrate each new thing for the family
