Having a reference book available to supplement the on-line training courses available from FEMA helps the student to review the material. (HSPD)-5, Management of Domestic Incidents requires that NIMS be used in major incident responses and that both NIMS and the NRP be incorporated into policy and training for all organizations that will responde to disasters or emergencies.
