Unlike most metal cookware products, Flame-Top cookware can sit on a very hot open flame for an extended period of time without any ingredients in the cook pot, and they will not crack, discolor or break. Emile Henry Tagine clay cooker
It came in record time, and in perfect shape! It is better than we thought it would be. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! We love how the steam from the cooking food rolls down the inside of the lid. Very delicious food comes out of that!!! Well worth the cost. It looks beautiful on the counter when we are cooking with it.

cracked in 6 months
i do love this product and would like a replacement, as mine cracked straight down the center after 6 months. i was not using it at extremely high heat, or empty or abusing it in any way. i boiled the milk in it before first use as the directions explain.
i love how it cooks, it is not easy to clean, even with a soak.

Best Tagine I've Owned
After using a silicone tagine and accidentally breaking a traditional tagine (cracked during use), I love this tagine. It is nice not having to prep and then nurse a traditional style for fear of it breaking. We've had it for about 2 weeks and have used it 5+ times. It heats and cooks beautifully on our stovetop, washes easy, and is very durable. The price is high, but the tagine is definitely worth it.
