Kindle loses a little of it's coolness
I do love my Kindle BUT where I am living for the summer there is no wifi connection. This is a problem in many parts of the US. I might not have purchased had I known about the somewhat limited wifi coverage.

Kindle E-book
This device is great! It has a few minor problems, but none that are serious. Its comfortable to use at home as well as when traveling. I even bought a book when I was sitting in the basement of a hospital building. This book does everything it promised.

Ingenious Idea!!
This is my first experience with an electronic book reader, but has an avid reader, I think it is a godsend. I waited quite awhile before I purchased my Kindle, trying to justify the initial cost. But after much contemplation I realized I'd be saving time and space in my home (both valuable in dollars) by not having the aggravation of trying to figure out what to do with all those books when I'm done reading them! I love that the Kindle is small enough to fit into my purse or tote bag so that I can take it with me wherever I go. Battery stays charged for a long time. I also love that when I purchase a book it shows up within seconds...no waiting!! I've been able to read in a variety of lighting situations and the text is always clear. For us aging folks who occasionally need "readers", the ability to adjust text size is a great bonus feature. With the built-in dictionary, I can lookup words I don't fully understand as I'm reading. My only complaint is that the Kindle doesn't always stay firmly in the cover. I absolutely love this device and have no regrets making this purchase!!! Now, if only Amazon could implement a backlight feature that would allow me to read in the dark without using a booklight!!!???!!
