The 2nd of the Twilight series, New Moon, focuses on Bella's friendship and developing romance with another after Edward's abandonment. The twist is her new friendship/romance is with the vampire's arch rival... the werewolf.

This second book in the series has plenty of action, new romances that are more clear, distinct and examined than in the first (though still not as prominent as in other vampire romances). It left me excited for the third!

The Vampire Diaries series are good books but not as good as some of L.J. Smith's other work. I do recommend these books!

Great trilogy by L.J. Smith. Smith is one of the best authors in young adult fantasy, creating vivid descriptions and ample emotions in her stories and this one does not fall short. Can a girl and her soul mate out smart a young magic trickster from his own deadly game? It's like exploring a large haunted house and hoping you survive the next room's horrors.

The BEST trilogy L.J. Smith has done in my opinion. Up there with other series such as Twilight and House of Night. If you love those you will love this one. It's a series about witches and a particular coven in which its members are subject to love triangles, friendship turmoils and hard decisions.

The Night World series is one of the best, and longest, fantasy/romance series out there. Each book (in this case there are three from the series within one since they have been re-released) contains its own unique story plot while giving reference and alluding to characters from other stories in the series.

A good vampire/romance series.

Of course one of the best fantasy series out there. Very unique and imaginative!
