Average customer review:Product Description
The firm of Royal Enfield was one of the best-known names of the British motorcycle industry, but curiously its products have never received the adulation bestowed on the products of Triumph, BSA and others. In this complete history, top motorcycle authority Mick Walker shows that there was, in fact, much for the Redditch-based firm to be proud of, in the shape of good-looking, innovative machines that inspired a generation. And what other company can boast a model still in popular production sixty years after its launch?

Editorial Reviews
About the Author
Mick Walker started his own business, Mick Walker Motorcycles, in 1969 and was a leading race sponsor during the 1970s. In 1994 he formed Mick Walker Racing, following the death of his son Gary at Brands Hatch that year. The team has achieved no fewer than five British Championship wins.
Customer Reviews
Easy reading, too little hard data
The book is nice, but the "The Complete Story" is rather thin, if you have old motorcycles as hobbies. And with the title "The Complete Story", I would have expected more pages about the pre-war period. I also miss hard facts like lists with frame&engine numbers, production years for different models etc.
Royal Enfield - The Complete Story
This book has a few nice colour photos and some old advertising posters. While it does give a very concise summary of the companies history it is overly full of engine specifications and is repetitive.
Royal Enfield
My husband loved it. He owns a 60's model Royal Enfield and just recently restored it -- so it was a perfect gift for him.
