Good club tunes, but CD 2 could be better.
A friend of mine picked this up at Heathrow on her way back to the States. I conveniently borrowed it and after giving it a good listen, I have no plans to return it anytime soon. :) CD 1 is great - I have incorporated many of the songs into my workout mix. Good club tunes - if I had to take a stab at the overall genre, I would say progressive house. This album seems to veer away from the more electro themes that have been prevalent in the European compilations over the last couple of years.

I find CD 2 lacking... most of the songs forgettable, some I found outright obnoxious. But I would still recommend this album because CD 1 is that good.

Hot Anthems of 2009
One of the best compilation series from Ministry of Sound, UK. An essential to any dance collection and preferable to any of the US dance CD's.

This compilation includes the smash hit from Kid Cudi and new material from September who you may know for her "Cry for You" single.

The second CD starts strong with new material including an Blue Monday cover and one of the quintessential dance tracks of 2009, "Ghosts & Stuff"

This CD also provides new material from vocalist Amanda Wilson who has previously been featured on Freemasons tracks.
