Excellent Kindle Cover
I ordered this cover from http://www.ereaderoutfitters.com/ before Christmas and have been enjoying it for several days now. It is a trifold which some people might think is too bulky but not me, I find it to be a comfortable size. It has storage slots on the front inside cover and a piece of leather on the back flap to protect the kindle screen when closed. I ordered it in brown and am very pleased with the color and feel of the leather. I fold it back upon itself and hold it by the edge to read. It has a magnetic front closure which works very well. The thing I like most is that it has a circular cutout on the back cover to access the on/off and wireless switches. The kindle itself is held securely by two clips. The clips work very well and don't interfere with any of the buttons. It has a slot on the inside to hold a pen. I could see a pen interfering with the page button on the left side, so I will not use this feature. I also don't use a book light when reading. I didn't mind the price considering the investment I already have in my kindle. I think the kindle would be well protected in this cover in the event of a drop but I don't plan to purposely test it!!!

I ordered my kindle the first day it was released and have been enjoying it every since, the only thing I was disappointed in was the cover. I have now found a suitable cover.

STYLZ (Cosmo & Avantgarde) Kindle Cover
I absolutely LOVE this product!

(1) The cover is an attractive, tri-fold design that is modern and stylish. It is all (NICE, HEAVY, DURABLE)leather (with metal grommets, white topstitching and a faux "crocodile" design element--inside and out).
(2) It provides good coverage on all sides to protect my beloved Kindle. The fasteners are heavy duty magnets that securely hold when closed.
(3) If you insert the Kindle properly into the case, it will not fall out! Period. I did need to SLIGHTLY bend the top lip in (or down) slightly--once I did that, the Kindle snapped into place securely. The product makers have thoughtfully provided a raised ridge for the cover that snaps into the back of the Kindle to lock it into place.
(4)The cover has an organization pocket for business cards and boarding passes (or notes, etc.), a place for a pen and 2 slots for extra SD disks for the Kindle. Again, attractive detailing with the crocodile design elements.
(5) A special leather pad (in crocodile design detailing) protects the Kindle's screen built into the right side flap.
(6) A very nice feature is the one inch diamater circle cut out on the back cover that allows access to the Kindle's power and Whispernet buttons. The only thing negative I could think to say about the cover is that this wonderful feature sometimes allows me to accidentally turn on my Kindle and Whispernet buttons (I carry the Kindle in my purse, and find that sometimes it gets accidentally turned on.) I feel this VERY MINOR problem is one I can easily live with, given the other WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL features of this cover.

I did not like the cover that came with my Kindle, but used it anyway until I could get a replacement. I didn't like the replacement much better and had to keep searching until I found the STYLZ cover. I have been using my cover for over a month, now. (I actually have the "Avantgard" version--the dark brown version--with all the same exact features as the Cosmo, just a different color. I also bought the Cosmo for my daughter's Kindle because she loved my Avantgard cover so much.)

Not for me thanks
I purchased a cover from this vendor recently. On arrival there was a small cut in the leading edge of the cover and doubled stitching on the contrast edging that was poorly done. Neither the interior nor the textured accent is leather. The cover also smells terrible. It's damaged and I expected better quality.

I contacted the Stylzworld via email and they responded until I told them I wanted to return it. I have sent them several emails with no response. This is terrible customer service. Will not buy from them again.

3/19/09 - Still no response to my emails. This vendor is international and difficult to reach by phone. Unsuccessful to date.

4/3/09 - I received an offer of a refund today. According to Stylzworld my emails "...slipped through our support service...". I accepted their offer and will post an update here once received.

4/8/09 They honored their promise of a refund and it has posted to my account.
