Good cover for Kindle 2
I received this cover 2 days ago and it's a perfect fit for my Kindle 2. It's well constructed, sturdy, and will hold the Kindle upright if I don't want to hold it while reading. The padding protects the Kindle when the cover is closed on it, which is very important when traveling. When I first started using it, I noticed the bottom strap used to secure the cover would get in the way, but it is flexible enough to be secured backwards when the cover is open, so problem was easily solved. This is our first Kindle and first cover--so far, so good!

Excellent quality but doesn't meet my needs
I purchased this cover when I bought my Kindle 2. My husband already has a Kindle 2 and we wanted a different leather cover so we could easily distinguish between our Kindles. The cover is high quality and I like the color. My main problem is how the Kindle fits into it. There's a good bit of extra space between the cover fold and the Kindle. My husband's cover has no excess space. The Kindle fits snugly in my husband's cover and will fit easily in my purse. This cover takes up more space than the Kindle and doesn't fit easily in my purse. The strap isn't as easy to close as I would like either (it's not a defect, I just didn't think of ease of use when I purchased this cover).

It is not a bad product. It just doesn't meet my needs. I purchased a second Kindle cover (the same one my husband has) since it is much closer to what I want.

Quality is excellent. Color is disappointing.
I really like the quality of this kindle 2 cover, however, the color is not the same as is shown on the Amazon and m-edge website photos. I was expecting a bright, vibrant red. The cover is actually a darker red, almost brick-color. I was disappointed, but not so much that I would return it. I bought it for protecting my kindle and that's exactly what it does! It fits well and doesn't feel cheap. I'm now waiting for the newly designed m-edge light to be released!
