Amazon.com Product Description
Producing restaurant-quality rice at home is practically foolproof with this 680-watt computerized rice cooker and warmer. Simply fill the inner pot with up to 5-1/2 cups of uncooked rice, select the food type, press the cook key, and listen for the completion signal. The unit's black, thick, spherical inner pan, which allows for spherical heating, provides a Dupont Teflon nonstick coating that prevents rice from sticking, while stay-cool side handles make the inner cooking pan simple to remove for quick cleanup. Multi-menu selections using advanced Neuro Fuzzy logic technology control the temperature for efficient cooking of many different types of rice including white, sushi, mixed, porridge, sweet, semi-brown, brown, rinse-free, and quick cooking.

Moreover, the unit offers automatic keep-warm and extended keep-warm cycles that maintain ideal serving temperatures, and its reheat cycle allows cooked rice to be reheated and served as freshly cooked. For added convenience, the rice cooker provides an LCD clock and timer, a removable washable lid, a retractable power cord that saves on counter space, and a contemporary white exterior, which makes for an attractive addition to any kitchen. Accessories include two measuring cups (one for regular rice and one for rinse-free rice), one nonstick rice spoon/scooper, a rice spoon holder that attaches to the side of the machine, and easy-to-follow recipes. The rice cooker measures approximately 14 by 8 by 9 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Customer Reviews

Other positive reviews are true5
Fantastic. You should note that if you prefer white rice, $200 for a rice cooker might not be necessary. What I really like about this is how well it does brown rice. It's not actually that simple to do brown rice correctly, or at least quick. I previously had a cheapo rice cooker that generally scalded the bottom and would leave some hard rice kernels when it did brown rice.

If you don't dislike the taste, you're doing yourself a pretty big and simple favor eating brown rice.

And anyone complaining about Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is silly. Or perhaps not silly enough. It's so Japanese, it's quite amusing to hear a gawdy song play announcing the arrival of "tasty rice!"

Died after 2 years1
I read those positive reviews here and bought this item 2 years ago. It worked pretty well at the beginning. Starting from about a year ago, it couldn't keep the rice moistured for long. Now, it is no better than a 20 bucks rice cooker and I have to replace it.

Excellent Rice Cooker5
The Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 Neuro Fuzzy Rice Cooker and Warmer has been a great addition to our cooking tools. So far, we are very happy.
The product is expensive, but the rice tastes fabulous.
