	Quo Vadis (Two-Disc Special Edition) Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $10.98 Classic Movie Version is great, but not nearly as good as the book.
	Quo Vadis Buy new: $22.49 / Used from: $19.99 This Polish version is truly beautiful and sticks very close to the book. Be warned that it does contain some nudity and inappropriate scenes which reflect the immorality of the Roman world in contrast to the Christians.
	The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas Buy new: $10.17 / Used from: $0.82 Story of the Roman Soldier who won the garment of Jesus at the crucifiction and his conversion.
	The Robe Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $2.99 Movie verion is not as in-depth as the book, but still good.
	Demetrius and the Gladiators Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $4.25 Sequel to The Robe
	Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ by Lew Wallace Buy new: $15.25 / Used from: $5.12 Ben-Hur, a prince of Judea, is betrayed by his Roman boyhood friend and plans his revenge.
	Ben-Hur Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $7.79 I actually liked the movie better than the book in this case. Classic.
	The Silver Chalice (Loyola Classic) by Thomas B. Costain Buy new: $11.16 / Used from: $3.02 Basil, the adopted son of a rich man, is sold into slavery by his uncle and works as a silversmith. He is commisioned to make a case for the Chalice used at the last supper and decorate it with the faces of the apostles. A very long book, but still a good read.
	The Silver Chalice Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $0.51 I remember not liking this movie, and Paul Newman apologised for it, etc, but it's there if you want to see it.
	The Spear: A Novel of the Crucifixion by Louis De Wohl Buy new: $12.21 / Used from: $6.18 Great novel about the soldier who pierced the side of Jesus at the crucifiction and his subsequent conversion.
	A. D. - The Trials & Triumph of the Early Church - DVD Set Wonderful series following the Acts of the Apostles. The stories of Paul and the Apostles are intertwined with the fictional story of a Zealot who trains as a gladiator and his sister who was sold into slavery in Rome, where she falls in love with a Roman soldier...
	Fabiola by Cardinal Wiseman Novel set during the days in the catacombs...I own this but have not read it yet.
	Barabbas Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $3.03 Follows Barabbas after he is released...he eventually converts to Christianity (in this movie, anyway...)
	Salome [VHS] Buy used from: $3.00 Fictional love story in which a Roman soldier tries to win the heart of the proud Princess Salome. In this version, by the time Salome dances for Herod, she is actually planning to save John the Baptist, but her evil Mother interferes with a request of her own...
