Customer Reviews
My favorite stroller
I just got this stroller to replace my Eddie Bauer travel system stroller (which was also great, but a bit bulky now that we don't have to hook the carseat up to it) and I LOVE it. I took this to the NASA Space Center in Houston and it maneuvered beautifully. It had everything I wanted- a canopy, cup holders, a child's tray, and a basket- and it's still only twenty pounds! The one-handed steering column is a life saver and is the only one I've tried that actually works. It's super easy to fold up and out- a problem with the other lightweight strollers I've tried, and easy to recline back.
The only thing is that when they say forty pounds, they mean it. I overloaded it by maybe 5 pounds (was carrying my baby in a sling and using the stroller to cart luggage through the airport) and the rear axle broke. I didn't have any problems replacing it through Evenflo.
Wheels wear out
We have an Evenflo stroller for our young child. The plastic rear wheels wore out after a year of use. We are heavy users but replacing only the rear wheels is difficult since Evenflo's web page requires the model number and manufacture date - these are not located on the stroller where they are suppose to be: there is no date and the model number is too long to fit in the Evenflo box for it. It's ridiculous to replace the entire stroller just because the plastic rear wheels are worn out.
Comfortable and Easy
I purchased this stroller to replace one I had purchased quickly when in a hurry. I still use the other one for quick car trips. This one is very safe and roomy for the 2 year old I adore. I haven't yet gotten the knack for adjusting the straps perfectly to keep her from getting out, but that isn't a big problem. It would be easier for me if it were a five point system, but not as comfortable for her.
I love the rotating wheels which means I rarely have a problem making it go in the direction I want to go. And the clear view in part of the canopy allows the baby and me to see each other even when her head is covered.
I had a problem pulling the material down to cover the back of the stroller. I just couldn't figure out how to do it & where to get the material. So it doesn't look as neat as it could in the back.
But the cup holder for the parents as well as for the baby and the carrying area under the stroller are all just perfect.
I am a short person (5'1"), so the handle is slightly high, but I would much rather have it high than the low one I had before this stroller.
I very much like this stroller as does the baby girl.
