While much emphasis was put on the state of marriage and family, too often un-married persons seemed to be overlooked, and left to ponder whether it is possible to be single and satisfied? Dr. Conway and Jada Edwards say yes, it is possible to be single and live a fulfilled life, God's way.

While they applaud the attention given to building a strong marriage and family unit, they wanted to present a guide, for developing healthy relationships for single men and women preparing for a lifelong, fulfilling marriage. Using principles from the Word of God they hope to help them get off the treadmill of unhealthy relationships and reach for wholesome, God-honoring commitments.

When Love's in View: Finding Focus in Dating and Relationships by Dr. Conway & Jada Edwards is the most exhaustive book I have read concerning Christian dating. The book is written from both male and female perspectives, which presents a more intimate approach.

The authors begin with redirecting the single individual's focus from getting married to pleasing God. They offer precise examples, complete with biblical references, of acceptable behavior and characteristics of godly men and women. The authors didn't stop there, but also gives readers practical solutions to many issues troubling singles today.
