#1 - This is classic horror that stands up just as well today as it ever did. One to watch...and own. Widescreen.

#3 - This put Kathy Bates on the map, and I'm sure will remain her best known work. Widescreen.

#5 - Alfred Hitchcock's classic horror movie Psycho is truly a masterpiece. Do NOT buy the remake from 1998...it's pointless. Widescreen.

#7 - Original concept with creepy villain. This is from the days where technology couldn't be counted on to provide the scares, so imagination took over. Widescreen.

#9 - Sissly Spacek really shines in this scary adaptation of the best selling Stephen King novel. Elements of Carrie crop up in horror movies to this day. Widescreen.

#11 - This is one of my personal favorites (as many can tell from my enthusiastic write-up on Best-Horror-Movies.com) Watch with friends at night, and then leave the lights out! Wide and Full screen

#13 - Vincent Price in his later years, but still some of his best work. Campy and clever from start to finish. Widescreen.

#15 - The remake from 2003 is not too bad, but you owe it to yourself to own this classic original. Steer clear, however, of the sequels...they are TERRIBLE! Widescreen.

#17 - This DVD edition has fantastic special features as well as providing surround sound and Widescreen. A must-own.

#19 - It's not enough that this hitchhiker tries to kill our hero...but he also tries to ruin his life. Scary! Widescreen.

#21 - This is the George Romero classic that started it all! Be VERY CAREFUL of the version you buy...steer clear of colorized, 30th Anniversary, or other such nonsense. Fullscreen.

#23 - The scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis doesn't let us down in this slasher mainstay. Fullscreen.

#25 - As Zombie Master Lee points out, this isn't officially a zombie movie...but it's a great scary movie with zombie-like creatures just the same. Widescreen.
