This book is wonderful! It's for parents who are not comfortable letting their babies "cry it out". The book has actual concrete suggestions and routines to encourage better sleep for baby and mom. The most helpful tip from the book that I really value is that even if you sleep with your baby, which we do, put them down during the day when they nap.

A well researched and critical look at the damage done to kids who are kept inside all day. They are "safe" playing video games but, at what cost? Great book for parents, teachers, and anyone concerned about our media obsessed culture and the dearth of opportunities for children to fall in love with the natural world.

This book is a must for any parent who is concerned about the overwhelming power of marketing to kids. We should not let marketers( whose goal is to sell, sell, sell) define our kids' values.
