Buy used from: $900.00 The problem with using a bow is that the more you pull, the more it pulls back. What you want is an easy pull, then hard in the middle of the movement, then easy again at the end -- mirroring the leverage built in to your body. (This is how Nautilus works.)
That, and "bows" are just way too flimsy looking. Like it's for cellists, or something. (To be fair: I've never seen a fat cellist.)

Okay so here we have a bunch of plastic dumbbells on a rack, and a piece of aircraft cable with a little tray you can load the weights onto. (Fun for the kids.)
But what really gets me is that when the thing is folded up, the bottom of it looks a LOT like the bottom of my ironing board. Maybe that's to appeal to women. (In the 1950s.)
