If you are interested in making your own baby food, a food mill is a good way to go. This is the highest quality reasonably priced one that I was able to find. I got it from Bed Bath & Beyond and I had a 20% off coupon, woohoo! Another alternative would be to use an immersion blender, but those are more expensive and potentially will add another gadget to the landfill w/in a few years.
