Pros: affordable, simple/not a lot of parts, bpa-free, glass is dishwasher safe, "hexagonal" shape means tipped bottle doesn't roll away (as opposed to Dr Brown's perfectly round bottles), fits standard breast-pumps Cons: glass is heavier and more breakable, no sophisticated venting for colicky babies

We got these to replace the brown latex-rubber nipples that came with our Evenflo bottles. Those nipples had only a small slit--a little square indent in the bottom edge--to vent air into the bottle as the milk is sucked out. But these have Evenflo's "patented micro-air vents" which is a fancy way of saying that the nipple has two little air holes on either side of the bottom edge.

Pros: BPA-free (and free of basically any other know contaminants as well), special vent Cons: pricey, special vent requires extra effort every time you make a bottle or clean the bottle

I tried these because they are about the same size/shape as the Evenflo bottles that my son is used to, but the vents are a pain and my son didn't need them after using the Evenflos, so I returned them. I suppose these would be a good, less expensive, regular-neck alternative to the Born Free bottles.

They're BPA-free, but from the reviews I've read it sounds like the nipples collapse easily, so you might wind up replacing the nipple with another brand if you get these. Like Born Free, these only come in wide neck. Company founder used to work for Born Free. Eco-friendly, recycled packaging.

I almost bought these in the store, but when I checked online for opinions there weren't many reviews to go by. But they're BPA-free, and the nipples have little "nubs" that are supposed to help soothe teething babies' gums
