About the Author
Julie Bologna is the meteorologist on Dallas’s CBS 11 News This Morning. One of the most memorable storms she covered was when she headed to the Carolinas to cover Hurricane Floyd as it made landfall in 1999.

Christopher K. Passante is currently serving as a managing editor for the Beaufort Gazette. He has led the hurricane team for several newspapers, and has covered numerous events, including blizzards, hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods.
