There's some debate as to the best age to start with multiple languages, but everyone seems to agree that at around 2-3 is where toddler's are hard-wired for the "language explosion." There's many more books by Glenn Doman out there. They're all worth reading, altho they often repeat a lot of what is in other of his books. They do focus on the basic skills - reading, math, general knowledge. But then again, early development of skills in these areas are the critical factors in giving your little one access to the world of knowledge available to them.
