This versatile deep professional cake pan is designed for baking a variety of layer cakes and wedding cakes. Straight sides and seamless construction (without corner welds) produce professional-looking cakes with square corners and sharp edges, essential for layering and decorating ease. The pan's uniform wall thickness results in an even rise and the elimination of hot or cold spots in cakes. The anodized aluminum pan won't discolour and provides excellent cake release and clean up. A ¼" rim around the entire pan makes it easy to lift and move the pan without disturbing the contents.

Customer Reviews
Fantastic little pan for gluten free (and other) cooking
It's very hard to get yeast breads to rise when you cook gluten free and when they do rise, they will fall in traditional bread pans. This little pan is extra high and supports the dough as it rises so the bread doesn't fall. It makes a very nice slice of bread that can be halved for a small sandwich. The anodized aluminum also makes for a very nicely browned loaf.
I have these pans in the 4X4, 6X6, and 8X8 sizes. They are all great for yeast breads, sweet breads and cakes. And baked goods don't stick to them easily. I love them.
Anodized Aluminum is the way to go
I am a fan of Fat Daddio's pans because they are sturdy. However, if you're particular about sharper corners, you should look into purchasing Magic Line pans. I have pans from both manufacturers, and I've not had a problem with over/underbaking since purchasing them. I still use my cheap springform pans, but I have to be more careful about adjusting for oven temp/time when using these in lieu of Magic Line or Fat Daddio.
Nice quality, great product
I bought this pan with the intention of making one large cake to cut into sections to make three or four (or six or eight) layer cakes. The pan is great; it heats evenly, has high enough sides to allow for a good rise, and fits in the oven (barely!). It's a very nice weight; not lightweight enough to dent or bend if accidentally dropped, but not heavy enough to be uncomfortable to handle. I have a few other FD pans, and they all seem to be good quality.
