Amazon.com Product Description
Perfect for pruning or weeding jobs, the Fiskars Kangaroo 10-gallon gardening container holds itself open, freeing your hands for work. The Kangaroo's unique spring design springs up to a 15-inch diameter, 10-gallon capacity, just waiting to be filled with weeds, pruned branches, or raked leaves. When you're done, the container can be collapsed and stored easily in a compact, ready-to-hang 2-inch stack. The heavy-gauge vinyl construction is tear and mildew resistant, and the Kangaroo fits standard 10-gallon garbage can liners. Its is covered by a 2-year warranty.
Customer Reviews
great idea needs improved execution
The idea of a pop-up bag is great, and the button down tabs also excellent. While others complain of the handle pulling out, my experience was that the buttons ripped out of the seam after only a couple of uses. Eventually, the bottom fabric wore out leaving the springs exposed. Would be great to have a durable version--double or triple sown seams--of this item. Thought it was too expensive for its short life.
Great all Around
Very sturdy device folds down to about three inches. Has pull clips at the top. usefull for all sorts of things but doesn't take up space to store.
Fiskars 94046974 Kangaroo Container (10 Gallon)
I like this bag a lot, especially this 10 gal size. I have been using these bags professionally in my garden business for over 5 years. They are just the right size for emptying into the large paper bags that can be left at the roadside for municipal pick-up. They are small enough to take into a flower bed without crushing plants and light enough to fill and lift without hurting ones back. My crew and I carry and use about 6 collapsable bags every day throughout the growing season. After about 3 years the the stitching rots, the wire loop pierces the bottom and starts to unravel - a design fault. So I buy new bags.
