Wonderful fairy tale collection
This is my favourite anthology of fairy tales with adventurous heroines. No princesses waiting passively to be rescued here, but enterprising women of all kinds having exciting adventures. Magical stories like kate Crackernuts and Cap O'Rushes, funny stories like Clever Grethel and The Husband Who Was to Mind the House, one story featuring three generations of remarkable women, the Japanese story Three Strong Women. Tales from all over the world, exciting dramatic and funny. This book would make an ideal gift for any girl tired of reading stories where the men have all the adventures.
