Customer Reviews

WOW, its everything they claim...almost5
My wife bought me this light through EliteLed.com via Amazon. Gotta give praise to EliteLed, what excellent service!!! Ok, on to the light. Quality is first rate...this thing is built like a tank. I dont have a way to measure output, but it claims 225 lumens on high...I do know that looking directly into it is disorienting and painful, kiss your night vision goodbye. Very easy to carry everyday in a Bianchi accu-mold belt holder. All the advertising claims a throw of 200 meters (650+ feet). Well, I dont know about that...maybe they mean 200 feet? Dont get me wrong, the throw is great, just not 200 meters. Output is well regulated so you get great full power brightness for as long as the batteries can supply enough power. Definately a must have for flashaholics.

Impressive.5
I've only ordered one other non-mainstream flashlight and that was also a Fenix, a P1D to be exact which I subsequently misplaced (it is small but powerful). So I set out to look for another great light, LED this time, looking at Surefire, Streamlight, even the super enthusiast ones but went back to Fenix for its relative inexpensive-ness and digital voltage regulation. Which means, even as the battery is losing its charge, your light output stays consistent, it doesn't drop off at all until its out of juice and dies. The build quality is great although may or may not be up to the ultra-durability of Surefire but I can attest to having dropped it (it landed right on it's face) and its still working issue-free.

Light output is great, turbo is godly and so far I'm still running on the same set of CR123A batteries. I use it for walking my dogs late at night and whenever the need arises and its been about a month. Its a bit of an expensive flashlight to the average consumer but everyone who has seen it has been impressed and says it looks like something the Police would use. Its probably overkill for normal-use, I carry a photon led key chain light as well. There are cheaper options out there for sure but I believe this is worth it if you want a powerful light that can go in your back pocket.

The ability to shift btwn 60 and 250 lumins nice!4
Delivery was quick, it came with everything advertised. I love the fact that you can switch between 60 and 250 lumins just by turning the head. Might be too much for some, but if you want to see more than 20 feet in front of you this is the light for you.
