Money Down the Drain
This isn't worth it even if it's a gift. Walking one mile showed steps as: 2,000 +, 5,000+, 650 and 12. Same route, same clothing, same time of day. Once it had a lower total at the end of the walk than at the beginning!

Worthless
I ordered these for my son who had used the same products in the past. He had had fairly good luck with the first of two he ordered. It lasted a reasonable amount of time. The second one went bad very quickly, but we thought it was probably a one-time thing.
Neither of the last two he ordered did anywhere near an accurate job of counting his steps.
