The Shiznit!
For a 400 watt unit this one rules. Ground fault protection is a must and this one is the only one in its rating to have it. Being in the aquarium maintenance business and being around salt water the construction and safety features made this one a must. It drives our service pumps in the truck nicely. If you need a 400 watt inverter GET THIS ONE. Best bang for the buck and the GFI is the fattest cherry on the cake!

I've owned this device for over 2 years. I primarily use it to power laptops when using laptop-based GPS, and to recharge digicam batteries in a pinch. I've only had it blow a fuse one time. I've taken it on vacation and it has run my Inspiron 9300 laptop for up to 10 hours straight without overheating. This has also successfully powered my friend's 130W-drawing laptop for a few hours. Highly recommended item.

Just what I wanted
This inverter works great so far. I haven't used it in long-term applications, but thus far it does everything that it says it does. GFI, automatic temp control, decently high efficiency, etc.
So great product, good price, I'm happy with it.

oh and I'm sure most of you know, but you can't use it with induction-based appliances (e.g. refrigerators), since it's a modified sine-wave. But I use it for lights and powering my laptop and have had no problems so far.
