Customer Reviews

Great rechargeable flashlight5
Since I won this flashlight and had nothing to lose I took this light out for a drive to a concert. The venue was about an hour away and I left the flashlight on (the three bulbs) the entire way up. My girlfriend, who was navigating, used it the entire way there to see the handwritten directions. I left the flashlight on during the concert for a total of about 5 hours. When we came back to the car the light was dim but with hand cranking, as the directions specified, the light came back to life. I plan on buying these for my relatives as gifts.

Good item worth buying5
I ordered and received this WIND-N-GO FLASHLIGHT in November of 2006 to have on hand when the power goes out and to use when going camping, etc..
When I got it I wound it up to check it out and found The light emitted is adequete for this type of flashlight. I did not leave it on to see how long it would stay lit so I do not know how long it will stay lit with a charge.
I put It away and after 3 months I got it out to check it and it was still holding a charge from the first time I cranked it.
So for a emergency flashlight to have around for the occasions you might need one, I would recommend it. No worry about batteries going dead like regular flashlights that sit around. So I think I will order a couple more.

Limited strong light output hurts usefulness3
This product is handy and well made, but its light output weakens so quickly that its usefulness is quite limited. My flashlight will produce about two minutes of quite strong light, followed by a long stretch of 'night light' strength that doesn't do much good at all. If I had to do it over again, I'd try another brand.
