Customer Reviews

A very flexible table that lives up to ads...4
I had my tablemates for 3 months now and it's still in one piece. The table is very flexible and you can adjust it to 3 different heights and 3 tilt positions. The table top is durable plastic and the legs are aluminum. The table is easy to assemble out of the box and requires no tools.
----The Negatives: The height is not easily adjusted. The legs use locking pins that must be adjusted independently. The home site has a 2 for 1 but charges Shipping and handling equal to the table price. The time for delivery can be as long as 60 days. I strongly recommend ordering them from a well know store like Amazon. This is perfect as a bed tray like ones in hospitals.

Keeps my lap from cooking when using my laptop....4
I purchased this because I was tired of my laptop feeling like it was cooking my lap whenever I used it from the couch. I agree that the height is difficult to adjust, but I don't mess with the various heights, so it's not an issue for me. For my purposes as a laptop table, it works great.

Problems With Tablemate II3
I was so anxious to get this. I was adjusting the height upward by pressing the two metal buttons protruding from the holes in the legs, and the metal buttons disappeared and fell out of the leg. The little buttons are on the end of a spring-type clamp. It broke on my third or fourth time to press them. I put a screw in the holes. It works, but you can't adjust the height anymore. That was very disappointing, but I really do like the idea of the tablemate. I feel it should be a little stronger and should be able to adjust to a higher position for tall folks like me.
