Comprehensive Survival Guide
Wow. I just got into this book (and Easy Breadmaking by the same author) and am amazed! These are not just cookbooks. The author takes the time to explain the facts, diagnosis, and treatment options for food allergies. She also includes a comprehensive nutrition section, all written in an easy to understand and very uplifting way. I am thankful that someone has taken their time and talents to write down what we need when challenged with multiple food allergies.
A true survival guide
All of Nickie Dumke's books are excellent. She is extremely dedicated to helping others through allergy trials and brings years of experience to the task. Although worth buying just for the helpful recipes, they are also just what the title says: survival guides. And that's how I have used them to help me during periods of very severe food allergies and chemical sensitivities. I thank God for providing such a fountain of help during such a trying time.
Many success stories to help you preservere!
If you have food allergies and are serious about regaining your health, you must take time to read this book. It will provide the motivation and the tools (recipes, sources of foods, etc.) to be sucessful. Learning to rotate foods is not easy, but it is worth the effort. Be sure to read "A Personal Postscript" and "Three Generations of Allergies". These success stories will help you perservere in your journey.
