The Ball Blue canning book is not as good as the Kerr canning book. Maybe it is a matter of taste but I found this one a bit cluttered.

Printing of Ball Blue Book
I am very dissapointed in the new Ball Blue Book. I have many of the older version so I had to buy this newer one as well. The titles of the recipes are so faint I have to use a magnifying glass in order to see them. I go back to the older version to use simply because I can't see the titles from the new Ball Blue Book. I am very sorry to see this wonderful book treated this way. I still use the Ball Blue Books for my canning and preserving but just not this newer version.

Great book with lots of details and reliable recipes
This book is great! It not only covers canning, but also covers other methods of food preservation. All the recipes I tried worked great and the canning directions are very clear. Definitely worth the low price!!!
