Customer Reviews

Another high point in the series5
My 8 year old daughter has read this entire series to me, over the past eight months. Both of us have really enjoyed these stories, not just because they're well-wrought, but also because we actually like the characters and care about what happens to them. In The Rainbow Wand, Ms. Rodda has added an extra delicious measure of suspense, and just enough anxiety, to make the book nearly impossible to put down. Admittedly, not all of the Fairy Realm books have been this absorbing, but all have been written extremely well for "children's literature" and satisfying in their conclusions. And those illustrations -- simply gorgeous!
For those who've come to know Jessie as a fictional best friend with whom you can't wait to spend more time, don't miss this story.
If you've not read any of the books in this series, please give them a try.
